Hiring an architect and interior designer can be a daunting process. To help our clients get to know us better, we are starting a new blog series introducing our staff members. This week we start with Laura Jenkins who recently joined our team as a Senior Interior Designer.
Laura has a unique background, with roots in the South (Nashville) and formative years spent in the Northeast. She is an NCIDQ certified interior designer whose design philosophy is influenced by her passion for art, history and literature. With her highly attuned eye and knowledge of historical and contemporary context, she's able to quickly home in on a project’s design aesthetic and capture its true spirit. She’s worked on a variety of retail, residential, corporate and hospitality projects resulting in multiple award winning designs. She has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with concentrations in interior design and art history from Georgia State University and was honored as an IIDA breakout designer in 2014. In her free time, Laura enjoys music, studying French & British history, reading and spending time with her husband and architect, McLean, son Archer and their standard poodle Louis XIV.
